Welcome to our little gem located next to the Ebro Delta, where rice cultivation and market gardening are the heart of our economic activity. Between the fishing ports of L'Ametlla de Mar and La Ràpita, you can experience the excitement of the arrival of the boats with fresh fish and their subsequent auction.
The cuisine of this area reflects the richness of the sea, with a wide variety of restaurants offering fish, fresh seafood and high-quality rice dishes. Don't miss iconic dishes such as sartén (a type of rice dish), fideuá (a type of noodle dish), eel in juice, and Delta oysters, both raw and cooked.
Did you know that rice fields shape our landscape? Green in summer, golden in late summer, brown in winter and blue in spring. This is because rice fields cover approximately 18,500 hectares of farmland and are the main crop in the Ebro Delta. As a result, we enjoy a product of excellent quality certified with the Ebro Delta Rice Protected Designation of Origin.
In addition to the exquisite desserts offered by the restaurants, you can enjoy delicacies such as "coc de brossat" and "pastissets de cabell d'ángel".
In L'Ampolla and l'Ametlla de Mar, you can enjoy a wide selection of restaurants offering delicious and authentic dishes.
It is a unique experience that connects you with the flavours of the sea.

Where to buy?

In the towns of L'Ampolla, El Perelló and L'Ametlla de Mar, you will find several shops selling fresh produce.

The Delta oyster is one of L'Ampolla's most surprising treasures. With an intense and pure flavour, this seafood reflects the richness of our sea. Fishing and shellfish farming are a fundamental pillar of the marine identity of this region, which enjoys a privileged geographical location.
In Perelló, honey and oil are the real stars, with varieties such as orange blossom and thousand-flower honey, as well as excellent quality extra virgin olive oil.
To sweeten the palate, there is a good selection of handmade sweets: "pastissets", "coquetes de segí", "coquetas de la creu", "coc de brossat", "coc de maçana" , rice ice cream... You'll be licking your fingers!
