Beaches & Coves

This is a protected area with very few buildings, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean coast in its purest form. It is ideal for walking along the path that passes in front of the house (GR-92 route) and discovering places that have never been touched by human hands. Here, the Mediterranean Sea is at its most spectacular.

La Bassa de les Olles is the smallest lagoon in the Delta. It is located south of the town of l'Ampolla, next to Arenal beach, in the direction of Mar Island. In this unique lagoon, you can watch fantastic sunrises with views of the mussel beds in the bay and Punta del Fangar.
El Trabucador is undoubtedly one of the most impressive areas of the Ebro Delta. It consists of a sandbar that juts out into the sea, between the inland sea of the Bay of Alfacs and the Mediterranean Sea. Therefore, you can see the sea on both sides and enjoy the warm, calm waters of the Mediterranean.
It is the most popular beach in the Ebro Delta due to its easy accessibility by any vehicle and its magnificent landscapes, from where you can see the best sunsets. Due to its location, close to the Tancada lagoon, you can see many water birds.
The beach is next to a protected natural area: the Punta de la Banya and Salinas de la Trinidad Nature Reserve.
